The findings of this study reveal that Indonesian Muslim women use VCS to connect with others who share similar interests and values. They create and engage with content related to lifestyle, entertainment, and faith, which provides them with a sense of community and belonging. The participants reported that VCS allows them to express themselves freely, access information, and build relationships with others. However, they also faced challenges, such as online harassment and the pressure to present a perfect online persona.
This study employed a qualitative approach, using in-depth interviews and online ethnography to gather data.
