The Dining Dollar Diet , a cooking competition where students must make gourmet meals using only swipes from the campus meal plan, was sold to Peacock for a reality TV adaptation. The original Morgpie version remains available on the student’s Substack video feed.
Hazing Protocol , a Morgpie horror series created by Penn State students in Fall 2024, was picked up by A24 in January 2025 for a reported $6 million. The deal allowed the original student creators to retain 40% equity and creative control. The series, which blends POV GoPro footage with supernatural elements, is now streaming on Max.
