Earlier SKIDROW versions had a memory leak during the "Winter" chapter. The "2 FINAL" fix patched the stack pointer in the game’s executable ( .exe ) to prevent the overflow. Specifically, they altered the CEG checksum routine at memory address 0x004A3F22 .
