Cinematographer Lina Alves uses a "red shift" color palette. As the hunters descend into deeper moral decay in the unrated episodes, the screen bleeds crimson. In the R-rated version, this effect is dialed back for broadcast standards. The Unrated cut unleashes the full color spectrum of violence. Why was an "Unrated" version necessary?
